Brightpoint Inc. recently announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P. (Brightpoint), and RTX America Inc., a subsidiary of RTX Telecom (RTX), have entered into an agreement whereby Brightpoint will distribute RTX devices, including the RTX DUALphone. DUALphone is one of the world's first US DECT cordless phones that support both VoIP "soft-phones" and regular "land line services."

The dual-functionality phone is targeted for the Brightpoint sales channels, including national retail, independent retail, carriers and value added resellers. Brightpoint also will provide logistics services, including end-user fulfillment, Web development and hosting, inventory management, e-commerce, returns management and order processing.
