Bluetooth SIG Validates Tester For V2.1+EDR Specification Aug 26, 2008 3:25 PM
Bluetooth applications keep getting more popular—and more complicated. But before you can release your next product, you have to make sure it works. This step in the process just got easier, though, as the Bluetooth SIG recently validated the BITE Protocol tester T1212 from AT4 wireless for the Bluetooth 2.1+EDR specification, which includes Secure Simple Pairing, Extended Inquiry Response, and Erroneous Data Recording. Now that a validated test system is commercially available, the Conformance Test Cases for these new features has been passed to Category A. That means Bluetooth device manufacturers can qualify their products against the latest Bluetooth Core Specifications at any of the Bluetooth SIG recognized test laboratories. For more information, contact AT4 wireless.
