Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide its Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics system for the new Gulfstream G150 aircraft.

The announcement was made at the National Business Aviation Association conference and exhibition.

The flight deck layout for the new aircraft includes four 12 × 10" liquid crystal flight displays. The system integrates a number of advanced technologies through the addition of an optional onboard file server.

The new Collins File Server Unit (FSU) integrates with the Pro Line 21 system's high-performance partitioned processing capabilities, Ethernet interfaces and active matrix liquid crystal display (AMLCD) flight displays bringing enhanced maps, optional electronic charts and graphical weather to the flight deck of this new aircraft.

Situational awareness is further boosted in the avionics suite through options such as 3-D Flight Management System flight plan map presentation.
