ICS (Interactive Circuits and Systems) Ltd. of Ottawa, Canada has introduced its SignIFy, a portable, high-performance, low-cost intermediate frequency (IF) signal analysis system.
The SignIFy provides long-duration record and signal analysis capability and supports user-code development in a package, which, while based on a PC platform, preserves the look and feel of a conventional piece of test equipment. Designed for applications such as software-defined radio (SDR), the ICS SignIFy analysis system is capable of being deployed remotely from its mouse, keyboard and monitor.
The SignIFy is housed in a robust, shoebox-size enclosure and weighs approximately 11 pounds. With its single, analog-input channel and 102.4 MHz/channel sampling rate, it delivers up to 50 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth. The graphical user interface (GUI) enables the operator to assist in gaining valuable insights into the spectrum being monitored. The SignIFy provides time-domain, frequency-domain and waterfall displays to enable a complete understanding of the spectrum under review. A single-click recording option enables fast response by the operator. The ICS SignIFy is available for immediate delivery.
