Broadband 3:1 hybrid combiner covers 700 MHz to 2700 MHz
Mar 14, 2007 12:36 PM

Microlab/FXR has introduced a broadband three-way hybrid combiner. The CM-83N is able to combine up to three different wireless signals in the frequency band of 700 MHz to 2,700 MHz with high isolation and without mutual interference. This feature enables the three inputs to be added together without the use of expensive filters. Therefore, this device is well suited for tri-sector combining, neutral-host distributed antenna systems and leaky cable applications.

Input isolation is specified as greater than 23 dB across the entire band. Passive intermodulation (PIM) is less than -130 dBc and guarantees down to less than -150 dBc are available with an additional testing charge. Each input is rated at 60 W average power, 3 kW peak. The CM-83N 3:1 hybrid combiner is available for immediate evaluation with either N or 7 mm to 16 mm connectors.
