The latest addition to the rugged capacitors offered by Leclanché Capacitors is the PPMCI series, which is available from AMS Technologies from sales offices in Germany and the United Kingdom. The capacitors feature excellent mechanical stability thanks to a rugged 16-pin contact and self-healing polypropylene and polyester films. The capacitors feature high stability, compact design and relatively high current values. They can handle 35 microfarads and 600 VDC, with a model available with voltage rating of 2800 VDC. The PPMCI series capacitors are suitable for usage in railway, aviation, medical or any environment where mechanical stability, current, space, and temperature are of concern.
