Department of Defense qualifies MIL-PRF-32159 zero Ohm chip resistors
Dec 22, 2004 11:08 PM

The Department of Defense has granted MIL-PRF-32159 qualification to State of the Art Inc. for its line of zero Ohm chip resistors. The new specification qualifies zero Ohm jumpers at three product levels: Space level T (including 100% burn-in), established reliability product level M, and industrial product level C. The products are well suited for aerospace, communications and defense applications.

Military-grade jumpers are available in 13 case sizes with solderable, wire-bondable, and epoxy-bondable termination finishes and are identical to the company's MIL-PRF-55342 product line.

SOTA has been manufacturing the zero-Ohm jumper resistor for more than 25 years and has extensive experience with high reliability testing and applications for these devices.

Pricing is under $1.00 in production quantities.
