Elbit Systems Ltd. is to receive funding from the U.S. Foreign Military Financing (FMF) of approximately $300 million for the Israeli Digital Army Program (DAP). Prime contractor Elbit Systems has already received $130 million in FMF funding. EFW, a U.S.-based Elbit subsidiary, is expected to perform the U.S.-funded work related to the program. Rafael and Tadiran Systems are also participating as subcontractors.

Under the Israel Defense Forces plan, DAP will enable the transmission of an integrated, real-time situation depiction to all command echelons, including individual soldiers. Components include command-and-control computers, software, data processing and distribution systems.

Elbit Systems Ltd. is an international defense electronics company engaged in defense-related programs throughout the world. The Elbit Systems Group, which includes the company and its subsidiaries, operates in aerospace, land and naval systems.
