Modelithics, Inc. has been awarded membership in Cadence Design Systems’ Connections program to provide Cadence users full access to Modelithics' accurate and feature-rich models for active and passive components and IC devices. The use of these models helps designers to accelerate the process of producing successful RF and microwave circuit designs using electronic design automation (EDA) software.

As part of its membership in the Cadence Connections program, Modelithics will be developing an interface between its model library software products and the Cadence Virtuoso Spectre RF design and layout tool set. Among many other capabilities, engineers will also be able to use the same advanced Modelithics models with Cadence Virtuoso Spectre RF and Agilent EEsof Advanced Design System. Compatibility with both tools can be an important requirement of the component models that many RF engineers use in their end-to-end RF design flow.
