Agilent Technologies has introduced its Electromagnetic Professional (EmPro) design platform for analyzing the electromagnetic (EM) effects of RF and microwave components. The software integrates with the firm's Advanced Design System (ADS) simulation software, and can import and edit three-dimensional (3D) computer-aided-design (CAD) files for integration with ADS. EmPro can also parameterize 3D objects, provide high-capacity 3D EM simulation and postprocessing, and offers dynamic, real-time plot updating. It features support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
