Agilent Technologies, Inc. announced new 21-Mb/s HSPA+ and E-EDGE test capabilities for its 8960 wireless communications test set platform. These major enhancements to 3GPP wireless technology are designed to increase user data rates, improve network utilization, and reduce latency. The functionality offered by the HSPA+ and E-EDGE test capabilities in the 8960 test system allows designers working on high-data-rate applications to test the new signaling and transmission performance required for the higher data rates.
