EarthLink’s Municipal Networks unit has deployed Primal Solutions’ IP Correlytics platform in support of EarthLink’s rollout of municipal Wi-Fi services across the country. Primal Solutions is a provider of IP transaction platforms.

With Wi-Fi-based broadband, EarthLink is now offering wireless Internet access to its own subscribers, an occasional use service to non-EarthLink users, and wholesale broadband to other providers.

Primal's IP Correlytics platform is being deployed to enable wholesale billing, which includes usage tracking, event rating and mediation, subscriber information management, billing calculations, wholesale self-help, and support for wholesale and third-party invoice creation and reporting.
