High-performance radio supplier FreeWave Technologies has announced the addition of Daniel G. Steele to lead its business development efforts in the Rocky Mountain region. Steele will work on expanding the company's spread-spectrum radio sales in a variety of industries, with emphasis on the oil and gas industries.

According to FreeWave spokesman Colin Lippincott, "Dan is well-known and highly respected in the oil and gas industry. Steele brings more than 25 years experience selling SCADA networks for the water and wastewater, oil and gas, electric utilities, railroad, traffic and process control instrumentation markets.
