Function Generator Reaches 50 MHz
Nov 25, 2008 3:11 PM

Berkeley Nucleonics has unveiled a new function/arbitrary-waveform generator capable of 50-MHz output signals. The company's model 645 generator provides sine waves to 50 MHz and arbitrary waveforms to 10 MHz. It can deliver a wide range of waveforms, including DC waveforms, triangle waves, amplitude modulation (AM), phase modulation, frequency modulation (FM), frequency-shift-keying (FSK) modulation, phase-shift-keying (PSK) modulation, linear sweeps, logarithmic sweeps, and pulsed output signals. According to the firm's Applications Manager, John Yee, "The model 645 is able to provide research scientists with easy-to-use features along with advanced specifications they require."
