MITEQ's MCL Secures Contract For TWTAs

MCL, Inc., a MITEQ company based in Bolingbrook, IL, has received a contract worth more than $1.4 million to design and develop an airborne Ka-band high-power traveling-wave=tube amplifier (TWTA) for the United States Air Force. The contract is sponsored by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), which is located in Rome, NY. The TWTA is aimed at complementing and enhancing current airborne military communications systems.
