Bias Tee/Diplexer Aids Satcom Systems
Dec 11, 2008 4:07 PM

Model ZABT-2R15G+ is a bias tee/diplexer that is ideal for satellite-communications (satcom) applications. It provides one port with L-band frequency range from 950 to 2150 MHz and another port that allows 10-MHz intermediate-frequency (IF) or DC signals to be injected onto the L-band signals. The insertion loss from port 1 to port 2 (L-band) is typically 0.4 dB while the insertion loss from port 3 to port 2 (10 MHz) is typically 0.5 dB. The isolation from port 2 to port 1 is typically 90 dB while the isolation from port 1 to port 3 is typically 40 dB for 10-MHz signals and 65 dB for L-band signals. The VSWR at all ports is typically 1.40:1 or better.
