LNA Boasts Noise Figure Of 0.55 dB

Low noise is critical for good receiver sensitivity, and the model ZX60-0916LN+low-noise amplifier (LNA) from Mini-Circuits boasts a noise figure of only 0.55 dB from 824 to 960 MHz. Ideal for a wide range of cellular communications applications, the rugged LNA provides 18 dB gain and as much as +16.5 dBm output power at 1-dB compression. Supplied in a patented Unibody housing with SMA connectors, the amplifier runs on a +5-VDC supply. It is priced to sell, at only $39.95 (1 to 9 qty.).
