Low-Noise VCO Tunes From 805 To 825 MHz
Oct 9, 2008 5:12 PM

Model V580ME09-LF is a RoHS-compliant voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) designed for applications from 805 to 825 MHz. With phase noise of only -111 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier and +5.5 dBm output power, this stable source tunes with voltages of 0.5 to 4.5 V and features typical tuning sensitivity of 42 MHz/V. It draws 21 mA typical current from a +5-VDC supply and can handle operating temperatures from -30º to +85ºC. It is supplied in a miniature package measuring just 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.13 in. and is available in tape-and-reel packaging for use with automated assembly equipment. Model V580ME09-LF is well suited for data links and digital cellular applications that require low phase noise.
