Model MPT2527PA30 is a drop-in, solid-state power amplifier ideal for WiMAX and MMDS applications. It provides 30 W typical output power from 2500 to 2700 MHz with 27 dB typical gain. It is designed to handle signals with high peak-to-average power ratio (crest factor) and can be used for maximum efficiency and/or linearity with or without digital predistortion (DPD). The compact amplifier measures just 2.00 x 3.48 x 0.65 in. and operates on a single supply from +28 to +32 VDC with a +5-VDC enable control. The amplifier offers typical efficiency of 30 percent with typical input return loss of 10 dB and typical output return loss of 15 dB.
