Protron Circuits Earns ITAR Registration
Aug 28, 2008 10:18 AM

Tucson, AZ-based Prototron Circuits has achieved ITAR Registration. The firm is now registered with the United States Department of State, within the Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance, Compliance and Registration Division as an ITAR-compliant vendor. Proton is a quick-turnaround printed-circuit-board (PCB) fabrication house that promises high-quality PCBs with minimal delays.

In the words of President and Founder, Dave Ryder, "In this day and age, this means a great deal to us. Now we are able to offer our customers the security and ease of mind of knowing that when they are ordering boards from Prototron they are dealing with a fully ITAR compliant vendor. And with everything going on in the world and security requirements getting more stringent, we consider this a good thing." The registration is a requirement for any person or organization in the US manufacturing or exporting defense articles or defense services, and is a precondition to submitting an application for an export license.
