Microwave Office streamlines RF component supplier's design capabilities

El Segundo, Calif. and Chateauburg, France -- - Applied Wave Research, Inc. (AWR), a provider of high-frequency electronic design automation (EDA) tools, and Atlantic RF, a supplier of RF solutions for metering, home automation, search-and-rescue beacons via satellite, industrial, and medical applications, have announced that AWR will supply Atlantic RF with a comprehensive package of software, support, and consulting services over the next three years. Atlantic RF will use AWR's Microwave Office design suite to help streamline and boost design environment efficiency for the company's monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), RF, and microwave engineers.

Microwave Office software was developed to address the challenges of high-frequency and microwave IC design and combines within a seamless environment an advanced IC layout editor with AWR's simulation technology and design-rule checking.
