Zeland provides electromagnetic simulation and design tools

Oct 30, 2002 12:00 PM

Since its inception in 1992, Zeland Software Inc. has been recognized as a leading developer to provide unparalleled high-frequency electromagnetic simulation and design tools to microwave, semiconductor, wireless, and telecom industries, government laboratories, and academic institutions around the world.

Zeland’s IE3D, a moment-method based electromagnetic (EM) simulation and optimization package, has become a standard tool in the design of MMICs, RFICs, RF PCBs, LTCC circuits, IC interconnects and packages, HTS circuits, microstrip antennas, wire antennas, and other RF/wireless antennas. IE3D’s power lies in its high accuracy, fast simulation, and incredible flexibility. IE3D has recently implemented a distributive computing capability that allows simulating structures using the CPUs in the whole network.

Zeland also supplies FIDELITY, a finite-difference time-domain based EM simulator, for modeling arbitrary three-dimensional high-frequency structures. The mixed frequency- and time-domain simulator MDSPICE performs time-domain SPICE simulations on frequency dependent S-parameters, and yield time transient and eye-pattern displays. It also performs SPICE equivalent circuit extraction from full-wave s-parameters. Other products include COCAFIL for analysis and synthesis of waveguide filters, FILTERSYN for coaxial/planar/quasi-planar filter synthesis, and LINEGAUGE for transmission line design.

Zeland has a worldwide sales representative network and is committed to providing its customers with quality technical support. Today, Zeland continues to lead in developing high-performance software for EM simulation and high-frequency electronic design automation.
