RF Circuit Design, Second Edition
Nov 29, 2007 10:38 AM

By Christopher Bowick, with Cheryl Ajluni (Editor, EWT) and John Blyler

Publisher: Newnes

Most wireless protocols, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMax, and ZigBee, have an RF component. RF Circuit Design, Second Edition tells the reader how to design and integrate that component in a practical fashion. The book has been updated to include IC and system-level design issues, while retaining its classic "wire-lead" material.

Design concepts and topics covered include: basic circuit elements, resonant circuits, filter design, impedance matching, transistors, small-signal RF amplifiers, RF power amplifiers, RF front-ends, and RF design tools (including design flows). This second edition includes two new chapters, respectively devoted to the two latter topics. The book also includes a companion web site (linked on the main web page for the book), which contains supplementary material.
