Spirent Communications plc, a global provider of performance analysis and service management solutions, has readied a test platform, labeled C2K-ATS platform, to run validated RF test cases for EV-DO Revision A technology based mobile devices. EV-DO Revision A is a next-generation cellular technology that increases the efficiency, data speeds and capacity of EV-DO networks. The CDMA Certification Forum (CCF) validated that 18 RF conformance test cases on Spirent’s C2K-ATS test platform have been implemented per the 3GPP2's industry-standard C.S0033-A specification. With this validation, conformance to these tests becomes mandatory for CCF-certified Revision A devices.
