VCO Tunes Across 826 To 841 MHz
Dec 4, 2008 5:57 PM

Z-Communications has released details on its new model ZRO0833A1LF voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). Designed for UHF applications from 826 to 841 MHz, it provides -4-dBm typical output power from operating from a +5-VDC supply. The typical current consumption is 13 mA when operating with that supply voltage. The RoHS-compliant VCO achieves typical phase noise of -122 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. It has a voltage tuning range of 0.3 to 4.7 V and typical tuning sensitivity of 5 MHz/V. The compact VCO is supplied in a standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.22 in. and is available in tape-and-reel packaging.
