Boingo Wireless announced the launch of Boingo service at both Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA) in the Washington, DC area. Boingo members can now use their Boingo log-in and passwords on the Boingo landing page to access the Internet or automatically connect using GoBoingo software at both of these airports. Boingo’s fast and easy-to-use Wi-Fi network is now available to the more than 24 million passengers that go through Dulles International Airport annually, and the more than 18 million annual passengers that fly through Ronald Reagan Airport. Passengers with Wi-Fi-enabled laptops, mobile phones or PDAs are able to connect to the Internet to check their e-mail, access corporate servers, download documents and surf the Web from anywhere in the airport. “Our customers expect Boingo to deliver the best possible Wi-Fi network, whether it’s at an airport hotel, or coffee shop,” said Dave Hagan, president and CEO of Boingo Wireless. “With the inclusion of Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Airports into the Boingo footprint, we continue to provide a growing network for fast and easy-to-use Wi-Fi services.” Travelers can purchase Internet access in these airports from Boingo Wireless for $4.95 an hour or $7.95 for 24 hours, which also includes access to the entire Boingo network of more than 100,000 hotspots. Boingo also offers a monthly plan for $21.95 that provides unlimited access to thousands of hotspots in North and South America, as well as Boingo Global for $39 a month that provides access to the Boingo Partner Network worldwide. Boingo gives travelers the best choice of Wi-Fi hotspots by combining more than 100,000 locations from more than 150 leading Wi-Fi operators into one worldwide network spanning 90 countries. That includes more than 500 airports with 85 of the top 100 airports worldwide. Boingo is also available at more than 17,000 hotels, such as Hilton and Marriott Hotels, and retail destinations such as McDonald’s and Barnes & Noble. Other locations include coffee shops, restaurants and cafés.
